lucky enough to be a walking community. Take advantage of
this and attempt to do as much of your shopping as you can
within walking distance.
Hint:
Take a walk one weekend and explore the local stores. Make
a list of items that you usually buy at national chains,
and then make an effort to get them at locally run
businesses instead.
