Wissahickon Growing
Greener is a group designed by residents to help keep our community
a great place to live and work! We are interested in encouraging
residents, schools and businesses to think green, and want to
provide a place to synthesize local environmental happenings, tips,
and discuss changes we want to make in our community.
Green Council of Lower Merion School District:
Mission statement from website: "The mission of the "Green Council"
is to make a positive, measurable difference in our environmental
practices and their related economic advantages to the Lowere
Merion School Districy community and township at large." The Green
Council and Narberth Greens have joined forces!
Lower Merion
Conservancy: The Lower
Merion Conservancy acts to protect our area's natural and historic
resources, open space, and watersheds for area residents and future
generations. Through education, advocacy, and research, the
Conservancy promotes collective responsibility for these
resources.
