Car Share in Narberth!
This past month the Philly Car Share program came to
Narberth with support from the Narberth Borough, the
Narberth Civic Association, Narberth Greens and many other
community members. Philly Car Share is a non-profit
organization that strives “to maximize the economical,
environmental, and social benefits of reduced automobile
dependence in the Philadelphia region through
community-based car sharing.”

To use the car you simply reserve the car online at
www.phillycarshare.org and then pick
it up at the Borough Hall parking lot next to the
basketball courts.
-Don’t pay for insurance
-Don’t pay to maintain a car
-The car is washed once a week
-Fill up the gas for free with the PhillyCarShare Fuel card

It’s a HYBRID with 51/60 (hwy/city) fuel economy

Just reserve the car, take it anywhere and return it to its
reserved spot in the Borough Hall parking lot (next to the
basketball courts)
-Become a Philly Car Share member for free and use cars
parked all over the city!

Car sharing is a great way to reduce the community’s auto
dependency and thus a great way to help the environment. It
takes cars off the road, resulting in less harmful
emissions as well indirectly allowing another car to not be
produced and thus making less waste!
